Welcome

Our Geocaching Adventure: From First Cache to theCacheLife.com

June 21, 2011 – a date forever etched in our memory. It was the day we found our very first geocache, and from that moment, we were hooked! Little did we know that this would be the start of an incredible journey filled with hidden treasures, thrilling hunts, and unforgettable memories.

Fast forward to the day we completed the Star Spangled Banner Geotour. If finding our first cache was like tasting chocolate for the first time, completing this geotour was like discovering a whole chocolate factory! We wer double hooked, and there was no turning back.

Balancing Life and Geocaching

Between raising a family and working full-time, finding time for geocaching hasn't always been easy. But every moment spent hunting for caches has been worth it. Last year, we hit a major milestone – logging over 1300 caches! 🎉

Adventure Labs and Bonus Caches

One of our absolute favorites in the geocaching world are the Adventure Labs. These unique experiences often come with bonus caches at the end, adding an extra layer of excitement to the hunt. Each Adventure Lab feels like a mini-quest, and the bonus cache is the ultimate reward.

The Birth of CacheLife.com

Our love for geocaching inspired us to start theCacheLife.com. It's a space where we can occasionally share our adventures, tips, and stories with fellow geocachers... between all those life events!

Hiding Caches and the Jasmer Challenge

We've hidden 30+ caches ourselves and currently, we're working on placing a Jasmer mini-challenge cache for each year. It's a challenging but rewarding project that keeps me engaged and excited about the future of geocaching.
